Who We Are

Founded in 2020 in Abu Dhabi, we are pioneers in manufacturing and supplying recycled plastic packaging. Our quest to drive the industry away from multi-layer packaging to single-layer plastics led us to establish Megapack Plastic Industries. Megapack Plastic Industries Ltd’s subsidiaries include MPI LLC Dubai, MPI Trading FZ in Hamriya Freezone, MPI SAOC in Oman, and Megapack Darwish and Sons in Egypt. 

With annual revenues of $29 million, we employ over 600 people who operate production units in six business divisions –  Blown Films, Stretch Films, Recycled Granules, Adhesive Tapes, Printing and Paper Cores. We produce nearly 22,000 metric tonnes of packaging annually and cater to a wide array of customers, including FMCG, logistics, transportation, industrial product manufacturing and retail.

Rooted in German and Austrian engineering, we are the only company in the Middle East offering end-to-end sustainable packaging solutions — from raw materials to recycling. Our production capacity meets all high-performance packaging film application needs. Our high-tech machines, made with the top industry standards and tailored extrusion lines, meet the unique needs of every customer.  

We are growing massively and quickly as we align our customers’ need for sustainable packaging to create a circular economy. Drawing from collective industry experience of 600 years in the industry, we bring together the best practices, people and science. We are constantly innovating our machinery and methods to achieve the highest-quality products for our customers. Our goal is to expand locally and internationally to include European and Asian markets, expanding our product range from conventional packaging to industrial packaging and further diversifying our products to include injection-molded and blow-molded products.
